Petapalooza 2024 Wrap-Up

The 2024 Petapalooza super pet adoption event is in the books, and it was a record event. 177 animals (101 dog and 76 cats) were adopted from 10 different rescues. Salt Lake County Animal Services hosts this event every year, this year, as in the past several years, at Wheeler Historic Farm in Murray.

The TimePunk Pet Photography booth raised $1,046 in donations, which is an all-time record amount of donations for the photo booth at Petapalooza!  That means 95 families photographed (pets and their people, because it’s our bond that is so meaningful!) and some generous people donating more than the minimum $10.

Thanks so much to everyone who showed up and made this event a success (and many thanks to my assistant, another volunteer for Salt Lake County Animal Services who kept bringing people to the photo booth! She is absolutely responsible for the record amount of fundraising from the photo booth this year, and I am eternally grateful!)

Petapalooza is always a lot of work, but a lot of fun – it’s great to see old friends and make new ones!

It was fun to see dogs and cats at the photo booth, and families, large and small.  Thank you all so much!

Enjoy a few photos from the event!
